He is the international bestselling author of the Mindfulness For Dummies and The Mindful Way through Stress. He frequently pops up in newspapers, magazines and on radio shows. Based in London, he spends much of his time training mindfulness teachers through fully online programs, and now runs online and offline trainings in Acceptance and Commitment Training (ACT) too.
Shamash co-founded the world’s first Museum of Happiness in London together with Victoria Johnson, currently a pop-up experience for the local community, offering a range of trainings and retreats.
He has had the honour of training with the father of Mindfulness in the West, Jon Kabat-Zinn PhD, through the Center for Mindfulness in Massachusetts, USA. He has also got a Postgraduate with the Centre of Mindfulness at Bangor University in Wales. He’s trained in Acceptance and Commitment Training through the latest program by Professor Steven C. Hayes. And he’s attended many retreats with Buddhist Monk, Ajahn Brahm, although he’s not a Buddhist himself.
