Emma began her mindfulness meditation practice over 30 years ago, she is a certified MBSR (mindfulness-based stress reduction) trainer since 2003, one of the first in Germany. She is also a trained instructor of Mindful Self Compassion Course (MSC).
For the past 15 years, she has taught mindfulness and self-compassion courses, coached individuals and run workshops in her own practice in Munich, Germany (Practice for Mindful Living), at various public Organizations and private Corporations, and is the co-founder of Universe-Mindfulness and the Country House for Mindful Living in Bavaria.
In 2018, she became a certified Shinrin Yoku practitioner in England. She is a co-designer and guide of a unique Forest Therapy program in Bavaria, Germany. In 2019, she became a certified Forest Health Trainer presented by the University of Munich and sponsored by “KNEIPP Artzeverband” (KNEIPP is a German natural healing practice developed in the 19th century by Sebastian Kneipp).
Emma also holds a Master of Sociology Degree from the University of Munich. She also earned a postgraduate certificate as a Rhythmic Instructor from the Institute “Rhythmikon” directed by the renowned Professor Amelie Hoellering in Munich. She worked in this field for over a decade with grade school-aged children, providing great academic and therapeutic value to the program through music and movement.
