Presence, although understood by more today, is still hugely underused in business. We are spiritual beings operating in environments where the transfer of negative energy can be damaging if not properly managed. Present Moment Awareness skills help protect mental health when job roles position workers in situations where they may have to listen to upsetting or distressing things or read upsetting content.
This interactive talk will give participants the chance to cultivate a sense of presence, so that the practice can be taken and used.

Antonia designed and facilitated AWAKE Meditation courses with a skilled Trauma Therapist who worked for Maudsley Hospital, a psychiatric hospital in London. The Eckhart Tolle style courses improved the mental health of staff within the UK’s Justice and Immigration sectors; aiding better communication, present moment awareness and stopping the habit of excessive thinking.
After running needs analysis workshops based on staff mental health for a UK Home Office contract, Antonia designed ‘Presence’ training courses for staff as a methodology to reduce symptoms of Vicarious Trauma. The focus also being to aid healing for and reduce the symptoms of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Depression and Anxiety in Asylum seekers.
