Laura Earnshaw is a Mum to a 9 year old and 4-year-old, she is also the creator of myHappymind. Before creating myHappymind, Laura spent 15 years working as a Global HR Director for the world’s largest companies. In these roles she worked closely with Universities like Harvard Business School to bring the latest science around wellbeing and resilience into organisations.

When Laura’s own children started school, she experienced the upset children and their families face when they don’t have the resilience to face challenges. Surprised at the lack of support within the school system, Laura invested significant time in teaching her own children mindfulness along with other scientifically proven habits that promote happiness.

This science backed approach had a hugely positive impact on her children’s resilience and ultimately happiness and she couldn’t understand why schools were not teaching these skills to all children. Laura surprised everyone around her by quitting her Corporate job and starting myHappymind.org. myHappymind is totally committed to giving today’s children the skills to thrive in tomorrow’s world. We believe the science and techniques taught to the world’s highest paid leaders should be taught in schools, so that’s what we do!

myHappymind provides schools, nurseries and families with an award winning, science backed curriculum that enables them to teach children practical skills and habits to thrive. The organisation is multi award winning and proud to be positively impacting over 40,000 children in the UK alone.

When not spreading the myHappymind love, Laura can be found walking her dog, playing with her kids or drinking wine in her yoga pants!
