Kathryn Lovewell is a profoundly passionate Mindful Self-Compassion teacher who has been teaching meditation and self-inquiry since 2006. Kathryn trained with Kristin Neff PhD, world leading expert in self-compassion.
Kathryn is an award winning emotional health and wellbeing specialist. For over a decade she has combined meditation, mindful awareness, therapeutic practices and positive psychology to create personal and professional development programmes for schools and prison education, in the UK, USA & Australia. She is the author of the bestselling book Every Teacher Matters; Inspiring Wellbeing through Mindfulness and co-author of The Positive Edge Journal.
She has written the Wellbeing and Engagement training programme for Optimus Education, as well as articles for The Huffington Post, The Telegraph, SecEd and other respected organisations such as The Teacher Development Trust and The Education Support Partnership.
Kathryn is also a qualified Journey™ Practitioner, having trained with, and supported, Brandon Bays, internationally acclaimed mind/body healing expert for over 12 years. She continues to learn from leaders in the field of Personal Development and Human Behaviour such as Dr. John Demartini and with the Institute of Positive Education.
Kathryn fervently believes that mindful self-compassion, acts of loving kindness and being a contribution are pivotal to mind-health, wellbeing and happiness. Her mission is to inspire mindful self-care and loving self-kindness across the globe.
