Easy Mindfulness exercise you can do at home with the children
When we teach mindfulness to younger children we like to use the senses as they are relatable and very young children may be learning about their senses in school. This exercise can be made into a game for small children.
Here is an exercise you can do at home with the kids. This helps children to learn how to focus and pay attention.
You can start by taking 3 deep mindful breaths together to help clear the mind.
5 things you can see (get them to describe what they see)
4 things you can touch (what do they feel like)
3 things you can hear
2 things you can smell
1 thing you can taste
