Pat Charlesworth is an expert by experience. She is a valued member of the team at the foundation for People with Learning Disabilities. Pat is an advocate, campaigner, researcher, trainer and contributes to many programmes both policy and guidance work. Pat works on the Palliative Care advisory group and developing guidance with NICE on growing older with a learning disability. She has chaired many conferences and meetings such as the Dementia Action Alliance roundtable on Dementia and Learning Disability. Pat is an activist and is a passionate campaigner on the rights of people with a learning disability. Pat and Christine work closely together.
