Kate's vision is a world without depression. A world where children and adolescents learn the skills and the science that support their resilience and enable flourishing. A world where creativity and wellbeing are positioned alongside academics as part of a new approach to Education, one that is truly relevant and essential for young people today.
Kate founded SketchBetter in 2015. She holds a First Class Honours Degree in Graphic Design (Arts Institute at Bournemouth) and an MSc in Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology (University of East London). She has completed an MBSR course with The London Mindfulness Centre and the Teaching Mindfulness to Children course with Calm for Kids.
Kate currently teaches Art and Wellbeing to KS1 and KS2 children at Alexandra School in Kingston and works with senior educational teams to design creative programmes that promote children's strengths and enable flourishing. Kate also works as an adult Life Coach.
