Hannah Jane Thompson is a personalised mindfulness meditation coach at Breathe Like A Badass.

She uses personalised meditation techniques and tracks to help Millennial (-ish!) women all over the world beat stress and anxiety; feel confident at work, in their personal life and in their own body; chill out more; appreciate the moment; get a super-clear direction of what they want, and how to achieve it - and enjoy life more too!

She has been featured in publications including The Guardian, Welldoing.org, Thrive Global, The Debrief, The Huffington Post, and Planet Mindful magazine.

Hannah’s work focuses on personalised mindfulness meditation - a mixture of life coaching and meditation.

She takes classic mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT) and meditation techniques and applies them to each individual client in a 100% tailored way, so they can find a practice that really works for them personally, which they can stick to for life.

Hannah discovered mindfulness meditation over a decade ago, after years of struggling with anxiety, low self-worth, no confidence, lack of career direction, and even less self-compassion or self-belief.

Now, with over 10 years of her own practice behind her, she is also a certified, Association for Coaching-registered, University of Ipswich-accredited life coach, and a student of meditation and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT) at the University of Oxford Mindfulness Centre, one of the UK’s most prestigious and recognised centres for the practice.

A true mindfulness meditation geek, she has also spent years reading and researching Buddhist-based and secular mindfulness meditation techniques, including the work of experts such as Dr Jon Kabat-Zinn, Dr. Mark Williams, Lodro Rinzler, Andy Puddicombe, and many more; as well as many peer-reviewed studies and journals into the scientific benefits of meditation.

Before starting Breathe Like A Badass, Hannah was a trained journalist and restaurants writer, with an MA in Magazine Journalism from City University London and an MA in History from Cambridge University, requiring many years of distilling complex ideas into easy-to-understand concepts - a discipline that she now aspires to bring to meditation!

She also practices daily yoga, adores sunny countries and gin (preferably together), eats too much chocolate and olive oil (preferably not together), speaks French and Spanish, loves the colour fuschia, gets excited around small terrier dogs, and lives in London with her partner Oli.
