The Foundation for People with Learning Disabilities; part of the Mental Health Foundation

Christine leads the Mental Health Foundation’s work on Learning Disabilities with a focus on prevention and combating inequalities. MindfulnessUK and the Mental Health Foundation have been working in partnership to explore and create opportunities for people with learning disabilities and their families to learn mindfulness.

Christine joined the Mental Health Foundation from the Institute of Applied Health and Social Policy at King's College London. Previously she worked as Deputy Chief Executive of Circles Network and as a senior manager in various organisations for over 35 years.

She has developed and managed many service improvement programmes in both health and social care and supported them to change to inclusive, person-centered services for people with learning disabilities, nationally and internationally. Christine has promoted coproduction and the involvement of self-advocates and families in all programmes. She holds a BA Hons in Psychology, MSc in Child Psychology and a Diploma in Psychotherapy.
