Dene Donalds is a Zen Mediation Teacher in the tradition of Thich Naht Hanh, a Prison and NHS Buddhist Chaplain and works nationally as an independent clinical adviser for National Health Service England Learning Disability and Mental Health Services.
Dene leads the NHS Improving Access to Physiological Therapies (IAPT): Mindfully Valuing People Now Project which provided mindfulness courses to over 100 people with learning disabilities their families and workforce across the North West Region of England. He will be developing a similar programme in 2018.
At our Manchester show, he offered practical mindfulness tips that can be used as an effective counter-balance to the stresses of life and as a way to developing greater happiness. During the session he explored how we can build greater resilience by stopping, calming and appreciating life.
