Time for the mind


Back in Feb 2016 I started thinking about organising a large event on mindfulness and meditation. I practised meditation and after talking to my teacher Frances about the idea, I realised, nothing like it existed. I spoke to lots of people. Once pictured I could not forget the idea. I felt compelled to try.

I had been an event organiser for many years. It has taken the good will and support of a lifetime of contacts, plus many new ones, for the event to happen. to exist. Many people have given their time, encouragement and resources. Even those that do not meditate, how amazing people can be! I have also had the good fortune to meet many kind, open hearted, hard working and talented people, some you will know as the Pep Farley team.

Our hope is to create an event where people can experience the true magic of mindfulness and meditation. To bring together the hugely diverse world it represents; from classrooms, hospitals and boardrooms to Buddhist centres, retreats and our own homes.

We believe that mindfulness and meditation can improve people’s health. Their relationships. The quality of their lives. The event exists to support this practice and all of the people who work in this field.

The Sleep Show launched in 2019 as another way to support people with their health and Mental Health. How we live and recuperate are so intrinsically linked we wanted to create a space for that expertise and all of the amazing products available.

We hope the event and our community continues to grow and serve people and to see you there.

We are the largest mindfulness and meditation event in the UK, giving visitors a unique opportunity to meet others and join together in a large community of learning, knowledge and mindfulness practice. Delivered to you in a fun, relaxing and practical way.  

The event offers access to hundreds of experts in the form of workshops, seminars and teachings within our comfortable conference rooms giving you space to breathe and immerse yourself in mindfulness and new ideas around mental health and wellbeing.  Leading speakers in our past events have included Ruby Wax, Will Young, Russell Brand, Vidyamala Burch, James Baraz, Sharon Salzberg and Lord Andrew Stone.

Whether you have a professional interest, are new and curious, or practice meditation regularly, there is space to experience and learn something new.  The event also offers a variety of creative and physical arts and meditative practices, plus a range of relaxing and uplifting products and services. Plus every year we bring new and inspirational features to the event, such as the Mindful Minis feature or The Friday Night Wind Down.
