Can Mindfulness Offer a Spiritual Path in the 21st Century?

Friday 2nd June 13.45-14.30pm

There are many secular approaches to mindfulness, and scientifically-proven benefits. However for lots of people meditation is part of a bigger spiritual journey - either within a particular religious tradition, or as an individual exploration of life's deeper questions. Join us to discuss the connection between mindfulness and various spiritual paths, and what spirituality means in our century.

Paths to Happier Living

Saturday 3rd June 13.45-14.30pm

We often use the state of happiness as a benchmark for deciding what is good and right in our lives.  It can be something we aspire to, find, feel or lose, a path we follow.  Join our panelists to dissect what happiness is, how the conception of happiness has changed in society, and whether it can, or should be, developed in our lives.
