Eva founded Everyday Mindfulness in 2008, co-teaching with husband Dan Lupton. Eva delivers Mindfulness and Self-Compassion courses and workshops for groups, individuals and organisations, having taught more than 1000 people. Eva is particularly interested in ways that Mindfulness can be applied in wider society and for the empowerment of women.
Eva has a background in ethical investment, with postgraduate degrees in European politics and business. She has practiced Buddhist Insight meditation since the late '80's, as well as Qigong and Daoist meditation, and started training in secular Mindfulness in 2006. Eva holds an MSc in Teaching Mindfulness and received the CMRP Masters Award 2016. She has followed extensive further teacher training with Jon Kabat-Zinn and others, and is a qualified teacher of Mindful Self-Compassion and of the .b Mindfulness for teenagers program and .b Foundation program for teachers and parents. Eva is a qualified supervisor of other Mindfulness teachers, and has conducted and presented research into Mindfulness Teacher Training.
